a highly cost-effective tape automation
solution that gives you maximum data protection
for your Sun workstation environment while
delivering outstanding capacity and performance
for backup and recovery. The Sun StorEdge
L8 tape autoloader supports either LTO Generation
1, LTO Generation 2, or SDLT 320 LVD SCSI
drives and can provide native capacity of
800 GB (LTO Gen 1), 1.28 TB (SDLT 320) or
1.6 TB (LTO Gen 2) and native throughputs
of 15 MB/sec. (LTO Gen 1), 16 MB/sec. (SDLT
320) or 30 MB/sec. (LTO Gen 2) - all in
a 2U form factor.
