 ::: Emulex Fibre Channel Switches

Emulex is the computer industry's preeminent source for a broad range of advanced storage networking infrastructure solutions

Emulex InSpeed blades

Major Features
  • 8 to 20 ports
  • Custom designs based on InSpeed SOCs
  • Faster time to market for back-end root switch and SBOD designs
  • Ideal for Fibre Channel switch blades
  • Optional management, port isolation, zoning and performance monitoring capabilities
DESCRIPTION

InSpeed Embedded Storage Switch blades eliminate the cost, size and power consumption barriers to implementing switched back-end architectures in RAID, NAS and Tape systems and Server Blade systems.

Leverage the power of InSpeed into custom blade designs and provide switched connectivity on the controller path or within the enclosures themselves. Also ideal for Fibre Channel switch blades in blade server designs.

Custom blade implementations offer flexibility and architectural differentiation in terms of port count, hardware integration and the level of features that can be deployed. InSpeed blades also offer a time to market advantage, saving design time while providing a performance boost and drive isolation to the disk storage or tape system.
