Brocade SilkWorm Multiprotocol 7420 and 7422 Router. These routers provide a unique platform that increases SAN connectivity options while improving resource utilization. By integrating multiple services in a central platform, the 7420 and 7422 router helps provide a flexible foundation for implementing and improving Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) and business continuance operations within multivendor SAN environments, such as Brocade, McData, Qlogic, etc… The Brocade 7420 and 7422 multiprotocol routing services provide new options for extending SAN benefits over multiple networks and across longer distances than usual. The primary advantage of this Brocade 7420 and 7422 approach is the ability to interconnect devices between SAN fabrics without merging those fabrics, ultimately providing a more secure and flexible SAN foundation.

Brocade 5000 Switch

The Brocade 5000 Series 4Gb switch; a flexible, high-performance midrange solution. It features a flexible architecture supporting native E_Port interoperability for seamless connectivity into Brocade Fabric OS (FOS) or McData Enterprise OS (M-EOS) environments. The Brocade 5000 switch is the first of its kind that can operate in SAN fabrics running FOS native, FOS open, McData M-EOS native, and McData M-EOS open modes.
